Nigerian Police Prevent Robbery Attempt At Abuja Estate, 10 Suspects Flee

The incident occurred on March 10, 2025, around 9:30 PM, according to counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama. The robbers reportedly scaled the estate’s fence and made off with several electrical appliances, though the value of the stolen items remains undetermined.

As the suspects fled the scene, security personnel responded by opening fire, hitting one of the robbers. He was immediately apprehended and rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Jabi, where he was later confirmed dead by medical staff.

Makama reported that the suspect’s body has been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary, and the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) has taken over the investigation.
