Ooni of Ife Praises President Tinubu’s Forest Guard Initiative and Police Deployment

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, commended President Bola Tinubu’s proposed restructuring of the Forest Guard security system during a courtesy visit to the President in Lagos.

The monarch highlighted Tinubu’s efforts in improving Nigeria’s international relations, foreign investment climate, and economic stability, referencing his recent trip to Kazakhstan.

Oba Ogunwusi emphasized the crucial role traditional rulers play in nation-building and expressed optimism that enhanced security through the Forest Guard and increased police presence will foster peace and attract more investments across Nigeria.

He stated, “Once security is addressed, there will be a solid platform for investment to flow into Nigeria.”
