The Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his running mate, Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, stormed Kwara State on Thursday, the latest stop on the party’s presidential campaign.
In Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, the former Vice President promised that if elected, his administration would set aside $10 billion to create jobs and boost small and medium-sized businesses to help the country’s employment drive for youths and women.
Atiku also slammed the ruling APC for the country’s insecurity, claiming that Buhari and his party have failed Nigerians in terms of security and economic development.
The campaign had a massive turnout, and Dr. Okowa, the Vice Presidential Candidate, believes that the turnout shows that Nigerians are very hungry and are ready to drive away hunger by deposing the ruling party and reintroducing the PDP.
He assured those present that, “the PDP will win in all six geo-political zone of the country. We will work with the people and rebuild Nigeria.”
