Judge Alexandre de Moraes emphasized the ongoing risk of “evasion,” citing Bolsonaro’s controversial actions. In response, Bolsonaro criticized the decision, claiming it tarnished Brazil’s global image and reflected the ongoing use of “lawfare” to target him politically.
