Premier Records Teams Up With Mdundo To Reward Loyal Fans Of Vintage Music
According to Ireporter Online, Premier Records Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with music streaming platform Mdundo in a bid to celebrate and reward loyal fans of vintage Nigerian music across generations.
The initiative, scheduled to commence on May 1, 2026, is aimed at reconnecting audiences with timeless classics while acknowledging listeners who have consistently supported and helped preserve Nigeria’s rich musical heritage. It also highlights the enduring relevance of vintage sounds and their continued influence on contemporary music culture across different age groups.
As part of the collaboration, users will gain access to a specially curated catalogue of classic hits drawn from Premier Records’ extensive archives on Mdundo. The campaign will also offer participants opportunities to win exciting rewards, including exclusive merchandise packages and other incentives designed to appreciate their loyalty and passion for old-school music.
Speaking on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of Premier Records Limited, Michael Odiong, noted that the initiative is a tribute to fans who have sustained the label’s legacy over the years, adding that the partnership with Mdundo would expand digital reach while preserving its cultural roots.
Also commenting, Amanda Uzoagba, Head of Music and Licensing for Africa at Mdundo, expressed excitement about the collaboration, describing it as a bridge between generations aimed at promoting African music heritage. She emphasized that the campaign would help bring timeless classics to both longstanding fans and younger audiences discovering vintage sounds.
The campaign will feature interactive engagements such as curated playlists, listening milestones, and promotional rewards, all designed to deepen audience connection with classic tracks.
