Prince Harry Expresses Solidarity With Injured Nigerian Soldiers In Kaduna Visit

The statement highlighted that the hospital, designed to aid the recovery of injured servicemen and women, features a cutting-edge physiotherapy gym and a sophisticated prosthetics lab. This lab, made possible by a donation from Germany, provides advanced replacements for those who have lost limbs, greatly enhancing on-site prosthetic fittings.

During his visit, Prince Harry met with approximately 50 brave soldiers across two wards, listening to their stories of service and sacrifice and extending his well wishes for a speedy recovery. Notably, he encountered two individuals whom he had seen at last year’s Invictus Games, their smiles serving as a testament to the possibilities of post-injury rehabilitation.

Additionally, Prince Harry took the opportunity to personally congratulate Princess Owowoh on her graduation from The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Accompanied by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s visit to Kaduna State was warmly received by Governor Uba Sani, who presented him with traditional Hausa attire and photo frames commemorating moments with his late mother, Princess Diana, and his wife.

The royal couple’s visit to Nigeria aimed to promote the Invictus Games, an initiative founded by Prince Harry to aid in the rehabilitation of wounded and ill service members and veterans, including Nigerian soldiers involved in a 14-year conflict against Islamic extremists.
