Sallah: Ugbome Felicitates with Muslims, Preaches Sacrifice.

Hon. Paschal Ugbome, the Edo North PDP Senatorial Candidate, popularly known as Ominimini , has felicitated Muslims Ummah on the occasion of the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.

In a statement, Ugbome preached sacrifice, obedience and love for the Muslim faithful to adopt as these represent the essence and symbol of the celebration.

He said, “I felicitate with our Muslim community in Edo State and particularly the entire Edo North on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Kabir festival. As we celebrate this festival, I urge everyone to cultivate the undying spirit of obedience to God, sacrifice and love, which are the core essence of the occasion. Our sacrifice must be multi-dimensional; for our nation, for our families, for our friends, and for our fellow citizens, expecially the poor among us. This is necessary as patriots who owe responsibility to the nation and a greater responsibility to humanity. We must do this with godly humility.

“We are all aware that the nation is faced with challenges ranging from insecurity to economic downturn, however, we must not on this basis loose focus on the virtues of sacrifice, patience, love and humanity.

“I urge the government and security agents to collaborate with each other to make sure Muslims celebrate this year’s Sallah in a secure and peaceful atmosphere, as we continue to wish and pray fervently for a safer nation.”
