The All Progressives Congress (APC) New Media Directorate has uncovered a disturbing plan orchestrated by Governor Godwin Obaseki and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to undermine the integrity of the upcoming Edo State elections.

Credible intelligence reveals that Governor Obaseki is mobilizing individuals across various bus parks in the state, with a specific focus on bringing in non-indigenes from the North to manipulate the voting process. This sinister plot aims to flood polling units with outsiders, thereby disenfranchising legitimate APC supporters and corrupting the electoral process.

The APC New Media Directorate strongly condemns this brazen and undemocratic tactic by the PDP. We will not tolerate any attempts to import voters or deny the people of Edo their right to freely and fairly choose their leaders. Governor Obaseki and his party must immediately cease this unlawful scheme, or face serious legal consequences.

Our commitment to a free, fair, and credible election remains unshaken. We call on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to act swiftly in monitoring these developments and ensuring that no external interference jeopardizes the sanctity of the vote.

We urge the people of Edo to remain vigilant and protect their votes. Stand firm against the PDP’s deceitful tactics, and come out in full force to ensure that your future is secured under the leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa.

Governor Obaseki, the people of Edo and the nation are watching closely. Desist from these underhanded tactics, as democracy will not be subverted on our watch.
