Suspected Kidnapper Arrested In Kogi State
A joint security operation in Kogi State led to the arrest of a suspected notorious kidnapper, Abubakar Ali Damina, who has been terrorizing the people of Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Area. Damina, aged 43 and originally from Bida in Niger State, was found in possession of a single-barreled Dane gun and various suspicious items, including charms, a gun firing cap, and local bullets.
Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed his involvement in criminal activities in Kogi State. Mohammed Aminu, speaking on behalf of the Igalamela-Odolu Local Government Departmental Security Officer, confirmed the arrest and stated that Damina is currently detained at the Kogi State Vigilante Service facility in Igalamela-Odolu. He will soon be handed over to the appropriate authority for further action.
The arrest of this kidnapping kingpin represents a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety and security of the residents of Kogi State.
