Three Suspects Arrested Over Alleged Attack On NANS Members

CSP Funmilayo Odunlami, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Ondo State, shared the news on Tuesday, stating that the attack was reported by one of the NANS members who had contacted the police after the assault. The police acted swiftly, restoring order and ensuring the safety of the victims. A manhunt was launched to apprehend those responsible for the attack.

Intelligence gathered revealed that this wasn’t the first time NANS members had been targeted in the area. With the help of intelligence-led policing, the police were able to arrest three suspects linked to the incident.

The Commissioner of Police, Wilfred Afolabi, assured NANS members that a thorough investigation would be conducted to uncover the full details of the attack and hold the culprits accountable. The police also reiterated their commitment to ensuring the safety of all residents and travelers in the state.

The three suspects are currently under interrogation and will be charged in court once the investigation is complete. The police have urged the public to stay law-abiding and report any suspicious activities.

The NANS delegation, led by Comrade Owolewa Taiwo, the Zonal Coordinator for the South-West, expressed their appreciation for the prompt response from the police and their ongoing efforts to maintain security in the state.
