President Bola Tinubu has lauded Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, for significantly improving security and stability in the state, stating that he is proud to be aligned with the governor’s leadership.

Speaking during his official visit to Kaduna on Thursday, Tinubu commissioned several key projects including the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development in Rigachikun (Igabi Local Government Area), the 300-bed Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital in Millennium City, and a fleet of 100 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses.

The president’s remarks highlighted a stark contrast between the current administration and that of former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, during which Kaduna grappled with severe security challenges, particularly ethnic tensions.

Tinubu emphasized that Governor Sani’s emphasis on peace-building and ethnic reconciliation had placed the state on a promising path of development. He described Sani as a stabilizing force and a symbol of unity and transformation.

“Senator Uba Sani has demonstrated focused leadership in both security and infrastructure, and today we’re celebrating the outcomes of his efforts,” Tinubu stated.

He also announced the Federal Government’s plans to construct a light rail system to enhance intra-state transportation.

Declaring Kaduna as “back again,” Tinubu praised Sani for converting a once volatile atmosphere into one of peace and stability. He also extended appreciation to the state’s traditional leaders for their role in fostering unity and supporting the governor’s vision.
