President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated the unwavering commitment of his administration to the continued development of Akwa Ibom State, pledging close collaboration with the state government in alignment with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Akwa Ibom’s ARISE Agenda.

According to iReporter Online, this assurance was given during a high-level audience the President granted on Thursday, July 17th, 2025, at the Presidential Villa.

The delegation comprised the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio; Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom; and two senators from the state—Senator Aniekan Akpan and Senator Ekong Sampson. During the meeting, President Tinubu expressed admiration for Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda, noting that it strategically complements the objectives of the Renewed Hope vision for national transformation. He emphasized that inclusive development across all regions remains central to his governance philosophy.
