invitation from the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The president took off at 6:30 PM on Saturday for the summit, which is set to run from January 12 to 18.

In a statement, presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga highlighted the significance of the event:
“The Summit, themed ‘The Nexus of Next; Supercharging Sustainable Progress,’ aims to bring together global leaders to accelerate sustainable development and foster socioeconomic advancement.”

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, a landmark gathering held annually for over 15 years, provides a platform for policymakers, business leaders, and civil society to collaborate on tackling global challenges and driving sustainable growth.

President Tinubu is scheduled to return to Nigeria on January 16.
