Toddler Discovered Alone At Lagos Dump

An unidentified two-year-old boy was discovered abandoned at a dumpsite in the Iganmu area of Lagos State.

The boy was taken to a police station after being located at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite, and officials are appealing to the public for help in locating his family.

“Found child: This approximately two-year-old boy was discovered last night at the Sari Iganmu dumpsite by a Good Samaritan and brought to the station. Please share to help reunite him with his family,” Hundeyin stated on Tuesday.

In a similar case, PUNCH Metro reported in April 2023 about a baby girl, believed to be just a day old, who was abandoned near a church by the roadside in Lagos State’s Ikorodu Local Government Area.

An unknown resident, while heading to a store in the early morning hours, heard the infant crying and took her to Ikorodu General Hospital for care.
