Uba Sani Makes Fresh Appointments, Names New Commissioners And Aides

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has approved the appointment of three new commissioners, 45 aides and 40 members of various government boards and agencies as part of efforts to strengthen his administration and improve governance across the state.

According to Ireporter Online, the appointments were announced in a statement issued on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ibraheem Musa.

The newly appointed officials are expected to support the state government in implementing its development programmes, improving public service delivery and promoting economic growth in Kaduna State.

Among the appointments, Ben Kure, the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation, has been named the new Commissioner for Sports Development.

Governor Sani also appointed Amina Akilu Dalhat as Commissioner for Special Duties I, while Abdullahi Garba Abbas was named Commissioner for Special Duties II.

Haliru Soba, who previously served as Permanent Secretary in the Kaduna State Ministry of Education, was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Administration.

The governor also approved the appointment of new chairmen and members for several key government boards and agencies.

Munir Jafaru was appointed Chairman of the Kaduna State Health Care Board, while Bashir Gamagira Saidu was named Chairman of the Kaduna Vigilance Service Board.

Former Justice Gideon Isa Kurada was appointed Chairman of the College of Education, Gidan Waya.

Also among the appointments, Esther Bago was named Chairperson of the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development, while Dr Yusuf Aliyu Bature was appointed Chairman of the Kaduna Hospital Supply Management Agency.

Engr. Namadi Musa was equally appointed Chairman of the Kaduna Rural Access Roads Authority.

The appointments are expected to further strengthen the capacity of the Kaduna State Government as Governor Sani continues efforts aimed at driving development, improving public institutions and expanding economic opportunities across the state.
