Why We Associate Dennis Idahosa With Edo Guber Elections – Group Opens Up

Edo Solidarity Women Initiative (ESWI), an all-women organisation, has revealed why they are supporting Hon Dennis Idahosa, the legislator representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the National Assembly for the Edo 2024 Gubernatorial election.

According to the group’s head, Ms. Esohe Idehen, who made this claim in a statement made available to our news desk on Sunday morning, their support is based on his success in Ovia Federal Constituency and elsewhere.

“If You Don’t Stand for Anything, You’ll Fall for Anything,” we’ve been watching the recent trend as it comes to the Edo 2024 Governorship elections and the many factors at play.

While some advocate for a change in the balance of power, others have put out arguments for why the next executive governor of Edo State should come from their own senatorial district.

So, as a non-partisan organisation that wants what’s best for women in our state and the public at large, we’ve come to the conclusion that Dennis Idahosa is the ideal candidate to be the Executive Governor of Edo State, and we completely support his campaign if he decides to run.

We have examined the various dynamics of power rotation and have reiterated our confidence in Dennis Idahosa because of his excellent work and dedication to duty. He has demonstrated that governance has a face, and this is what the average person on the street wants, not where the governor comes from.

What is going on for him is his persistence in alleviating the plight of the masses; he has extended his hands of fellowship to the common people, and it is believed that he will translate this on a larger scale, thereby reaching out to other constituents across Edo State.

We believe that by standing up for what is right now, we have allied ourselves with a capable leader who will propel the State to the next stage of sustainable progress.”
