BREAKING: CCTV Captures Moment Small Aircraft Crashed In Ikeja, Lagos (VIDEO)

A small aircraft has crashed in the Oba Akran area in Ikeja, Lagos State, as confirmed by Tunji Oketunbi, the Spokesman for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

According to an official from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the aircraft caught fire during the incident. Fortunately, all four occupants, including the pilot, were rescued alive and taken to a nearby hospital.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) also verified the accident, and Ibrahim Farinloye, the NEMA Zonal Coordinator for South-West, reported on the Agency’s official WhatsApp platform that the identities of the helicopter’s operator were not yet known, but all those on board were rescued safely.

First responders from NEMA, LASEMA, and investigators from the NSIB have arrived at the crash site.

This incident occurred three years after a helicopter operated by Quorom Aviation crashed in the Opebi area of Lagos in August 2020, resulting in the death of all three occupants on board.
