According to Ireporter Online, British-Nigerian rapper Dave and Nigerian singer Tems have been featured in Spotify’s 2026 ‘Songs of Summer’ predictions, following the platform’s annual selection of tracks expected to dominate global listening during the season.

The streaming giant’s global editorial team selected their collaboration “Raindance (feat. Tems)” as one of the standout contenders for the 2026 summer soundtrack, based on rising international streaming patterns and audience engagement.

Released in October 2025 as part of Dave’s third studio album The Boy Who Played the Harp, the track appears as the fifth song on the project. It was produced by Jo Caleb, Kyle Evans, Jim Legxacy, alongside contributions from the artists themselves, blending Tems’ soulful vocal delivery with Dave’s reflective rap style.

The song has already achieved major commercial success, peaking at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart—marking Tems’ first chart-topping single in the United Kingdom—and has since surpassed 500 million global streams.
