Following the visit, Governor Otti pledged to engage with the market leadership to address the immediate challenges. He emphasized the need for urgent action due to the precarious condition of the buildings, which posed a significant threat to lives.

Otti outlined a comprehensive plan that involves relocating the traders to a temporary site, demolishing the existing structures, and reconstructing the market with improved safety features.

During the visit, the Governor highlighted the inadequacy of the current market layout and structures, stating that modern markets should prioritize safety and proper planning. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the market leadership, local government chairman, and the Greater Aba Development Authority (GADA) in executing the reconstruction plan.
