Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate for the 2023 General Elections, Mr. Peter Obi, outlined strategies on Monday to address the departure of multinational companies from Nigeria. The former Anambra State governor highlighted on his X handle that Nigeria has lost N95 trillion over the past five years due to this trend.

Obi stressed the importance of creating a business-friendly environment to attract investment, foster innovation, and promote economic growth. His recommendations included prioritizing security, ensuring policy stability, and reducing energy costs.

“We must also instill a culture of transparency, accountability, and good governance,” Obi emphasized, calling for unity in transforming Nigeria into a nation conducive to business and appealing to investors.

“Together, we can position Nigeria as a beacon of hope and progress in Africa and the world,” he concluded.
