Strategic effort to strengthen communication between the government and its citizens, President Bola Tinubu has appointed six presidential liaison aides, each representing one of Nigeria’s six geo-political zones. This move is designed to promote transparency and ensure that the government’s policies are well-understood and supported across the nation.

The newly appointed Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) will oversee the Presidential Zonal Community Engagement initiative. Their primary responsibility is to engage directly with Nigerians within their respective zones, discussing and clarifying the President’s economic policies and programs.

The appointed aides are:

  • Moremi Ojudu for the South-West
  • Chioma Nweze for the South-East
  • Gift Johnbull for the South-South
  • Abiodun Essiet for the North-Central
  • Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai for the North-West
  • Abdulhamid Yahaya Abba for the North-East

These aides will serve as a vital link between the Presidency and the people, returning to their communities to foster a deeper understanding of government initiatives while actively gathering feedback from citizens. This initiative underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring that government programs are effectively communicated and that public input plays a crucial role in shaping policy decisions.
