UAR, Twitter And The Federal Government Of Nigeria
The idea of changing the name of the country and the ban of Twitter is not just lame but useless. It is over a month now that those insane idea was proposed by the present day Federal Government of Nigeria. The nature of the people of Nigeria makes these two concepts not worth anyone’s time. Since the announcement was made that Twitter was prohibited in Nigerian’s internet space, not only has tweets been flying out Nigeria even some folks in government is still tweeting. Let’s assume we are now called UAR, let’s assume the federal government changes the flag and the anthem, change the name of the states if they even desire, change the map if that’s possible, change their political party names, I still bet the situation is still gone be turbulent and full of chaos, more leaks and even bigger drama.

The president and the presidency was recently said to be different by a so called honorable member of the house and he said that while been interviewed on air, a live television broadcast, when asked the stance of the House on the ban of Twitter. The old evil folks running this country has been playing draft with this country but what they don’t realize is the board on which they play has been changed to a chess board, meaning we all don’t move the way we used to move no more. The pawns of the government reduces by the day due to the insecurity they have created and allowed to grow, their kings and queens not as safe as they used to be, their bishops are simply getting rich and cares less, the rooks and knights shaking as succession is been threatened in every other region of the country. This present administration, the most incredible Federal Government this country ever seen continues to show signs of tyranny and dictatorship as the day passes by. Our premature democracy has not been put in an incubator since 1999 and for that simple reason, the so called giant of Africa continues to act like a big imbecile in the eyes of the world. Nobody is safe with daily cases of insecurity, mass kidnapping, mass slaughtering, mass departures from the country continues to rise.
The present government can’t handle social media pressure and that right now is the concept that’s gone hurt them most, it’s gone lead to the downfall and exile of some of these evil men if they don’t handle it with care. Nigerians are the last people in the world that’s gone bow to a tyrant or a dictatorship type of government, they may act like they don’t notice the tyranny or act like they are not disturbed by it or act like they would survive regardless of the tyranny but they never bow, they would act like they even bowed but they don’t. Abacha’s time was perceived as bad but it didn’t last long, the leader before him wasn’t any better but still didn’t last long, the leaders in the year the civil war broke out were not even better so were the ones after the war, no leadership can be totally perfect but once you undermine the people as a leader and consider them powerless then you set a trap for yourself as the leader. The next general election is around the corner, the leadership is expected to change soon but we are yet to see a true change in this country since the creation of it.
For your information we are still tweeting and we trust our VPN providers than we trust any arm or level of governance, as long as y’all breathing, we are breathing too and if we wake up and see the flag no more or a new country name, we still gone survive until we have a fairer society in this geographical location we were birth from.
