Carter Efe Reacts To Babcock Forged Certificate Lawsuit, Says ‘₦100,000 Must Be Paid Before You See Me
Carter Efe has reacted to the ongoing controversy surrounding his alleged academic certificate from Babcock University amid growing public scrutiny.
According to Ireporter Online, the skit maker made the remarks on Monday night during a livestream session with fellow content creators, where they were seen engaging in street vending activities.
During the broadcast, Carter Efe addressed the circulating reports linking him to questions over his academic records, stating in a playful tone that individuals from Babcock seeking him would not easily gain access to him. He further added that anyone attempting to see him would be required to pay a “₦100,000 ticket fee” before meeting him.
He also hinted that he plans to visit the institution soon.
“Babcock, I hear say una dey look for me. Una no go see me. Before una go see me, una go pay N100,000 for ticket, and we are coming to Babcock soon,” he said during the livestream.
The controversy began after Carter Efe shared a document online, which he claimed was his degree certificate from Babcock University. In the post, he stated that he studied Biochemistry and graduated with strong academic results, using the document to counter doubts about his educational background.
However, the document sparked widespread debate online, with users questioning certain details, particularly the grading format stated on it.
In response, Babcock University reportedly distanced itself from the document, stating that it does not recognize the classification featured and warning against the circulation or acceptance of any allegedly fake certificates linked to the institution.
