Reality television personality Angel Smith has publicly affirmed her queer identity following her recent wedding to her female partner, Tumininu, in the United States. According to reports, the former Big Brother Naija finalist shared on that she has consistently been open about her sexuality, both before and after her participation in the reality show.

Angel wrote in her post, “And I have been openly queer before AND after I went for that show, please never attribute my greatness to a man, he could never have made me this cool, thangyaaaaa.”

Videos and photographs circulating online captured the couple’s intimate ceremony, attended by close friends and family. The event featured a minimalist aesthetic, with guests dressed predominantly in black. Angel wore a simple white strapless mini dress complemented by a veil and heels, while Tumininu donned a tailored black suit paired with a white shirt, black bow tie, and floral lapel pin.

The couple first revealed their relationship to the public in 2025, frequently sharing glimpses of their life together on social media. Earlier this year, they reportedly held a civil ceremony before the recent formal wedding in the United States.

Angel was previously linked romantically to fellow reality star Soma Anyama. Their relationship began during the BBNaija All Stars edition in 2023 and concluded in early 2024.
