The announcement, made by the company’s Board of Directors on February 12, 2024, comes with the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria and marks a pivotal moment in Access Holdings’ leadership transition.
Agbede, a seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience spanning banking and business consultancy services, has been a stalwart within Access Bank since 2003.
Her journey within the organization has seen her assume various critical roles, including Head of Group Human Resources and more recently as the founding Executive Director of Business Support.
Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Cranfield University UK, Agbede brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She is also a proud member of esteemed professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Management UK and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.
With Agbede’s appointment, Access Holdings reaffirms its commitment to stability and excellence in leadership, signaling a new chapter in its journey of growth and resilience.
