Army Dismisses Oguwike As PHDL Company Secretary
According to Ireporter Online, the Nigerian Army has announced the removal of Barrister Nathan Oguwike as Company Secretary of Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL), with the decision taking effect from April 23, 2026.
The announcement was contained in an official notice signed by the spokesperson of the organisation, Lieutenant Augustine Nkeonye, who confirmed that Oguwike has ceased to hold any position within the company.
The statement read in part that Oguwike, a former company secretary of PHDL, is no longer in the service of the organisation and is not authorised to represent or bind it in any capacity.
It further cautioned stakeholders and members of the public against engaging him on any official matter relating to the company, adding that PHDL would not be held liable for any actions or representations made by him following the termination of his appointment.
No reason was provided for his removal, as the Army did not disclose whether the decision was administrative or disciplinary in nature.
Post-Service Housing Development Limited is an initiative of the Nigerian Army established to provide affordable housing for both serving and retired personnel, as part of its welfare programme aimed at improving post-service living conditions for military officers.
