Nollywood actress and producer Toyin Abraham has praised the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for the success of this year’s edition, despite criticisms following the snub of Funke Akindele’s film, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’.

In a post on her Instagram page, Abraham called this edition the “best and realest ever”, thanking the organizers and expressing love for them. This comes after the 10th edition of the AMVCA faced backlash due to the film’s failure to secure any awards despite its box office success.

Abraham recently extended an olive branch to Akindele, acknowledging that their rivalry originated in the Yoruba movie industry and persisted when they transitioned to Nollywood. She emphasized that age and wisdom have taught her that they can compete without being negatively competitive.
