Just In: NLC Shuts Down JEDC Headquarters In Plateau State Over Tariff Hike (Details)
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has closed the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC) headquarters in Plateau State in protest against the electricity tariff hike.
It was reported that the labor union barricaded the main entrance of the company, preventing the staff from entering the building.

The NLC and Trade Union Congress (TUC) had previously announced their intention to close the offices of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) and Distribution Companies (DisCos) nationwide due to their failure to meet their demand for a complete reversal of the electricity tariff hike.
