BREAKING: Bad News Hits Nigerian Senate, Buhari, Tinubu As Kalu Is Confirmed Dead
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former Governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, announced the death of his first wife, Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu, who died at the age of 61, on Monday.
Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, former governor of Abia State and Chief Whip of the Senate, said Mrs Ifeoma was a woman of virtue who was dedicated to the service of God and humanity in a social media post signed by him.

According to him, “With a heavy heart and pain, we announce the passing on to the eternal glory of Mrs Ifeoma Ada Kalu aged 61 years.
She was a woman of virtue who dedicated her life to serving God and humanity.
In her honor, a memorial service will be held in the United States of America (USA).
Buhari Reacts
President Muhammadu Buhari expressed sympathy on Monday to former Abia State Governor Orji Uzor Kalu.
Ifeoma Ada, the APC chieftain and Senate Chief Whip, died at the age of 61.
The President also consoled the President’s family, friends, and associates, urging them to put their trust in God for comfort and care during this trying time.

Buhari believes the testimonies of Ifeoma’s fear of God and charity should provide strength for loved ones, knowing she lived well.
The president’s statement by spokesperson Femi Adesina prayed for the repose of her soul, and fortitude for the family to bear the loss.
Tinubu Reacts
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the President-elect, has expressed sympathy and condolences to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Chief Whip of the Senate and former governor of Abia State, on the death of his first wife, Mrs. Ifeoma Ada Kalu, at the age of 61.
“Please be consoled by the memories of the good time you both shared and the fact that the late Mrs. Ifeoma Kalu lived most of her life in the service of God and humanity,” the President-elect said in a statement on Monday from his office.
