According to Ireporter Online, legendary gospel singer Ron Kenoly has passed away at the age of 81. Multiple gospel artists confirmed Kenoly’s death on their social media accounts, mourning the loss of a figure who inspired generations.

Nigerian gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey took to Instagram to pay tribute, expressing gratitude for Kenoly’s influence. He wrote, “Dr Ron Kenoly crosses to yonder side. Thank you for inspiring generations of psalmists like me. I grew up on these songs. And today, others are growing up on ours. Thank you, sir.”

Kenoly was celebrated for hit songs such as Majesty, Righteousness, Peace & Joy, Anointing, All Honour, and Sing Out, among others, leaving an indelible mark on gospel music worldwide.
