BREAKING: How Will Tinubu React To This? – Edun Says Labour Party Will Be Victorious At Supreme Court

The Labour Party has conveyed its optimism that the forthcoming Supreme Court verdict will rule in its favor.

This assurance was conveyed by the party’s National Legal Officer, Kehinde Edun. Edun further affirmed that their presidential candidate in the February 25, 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi, would be declared the victor.

He said: “We are expecting victory because that is what justice demands; that is what Nigerians want. We will not lose hope. We have presented our case before the court.

“We are confident of victory for the Labour Party and Nigerians. We know that there will be jubilation everywhere in Nigeria.”

The Supreme Court has scheduled Thursday for the announcement of its reserved judgment on the two appeals aiming to invalidate the election of President Bola Tinubu.

Atiku and Obi have raised objections to the declaration made by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stating that Tinubu, a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), was the rightful victor of the presidential election conducted on February 25.
