Ngelale clarified that the directive applies to the President, Vice President, First Lady, Ministers, and Heads of Agencies. The President’s staff outside the country will now be limited to 20 individuals.

In adherence to the directive, ministers are now restricted to four accompanying staff members on foreign trips, while heads of agencies are limited to two.

Additionally, Tinubu has discontinued the practice of traveling with extensive security delegations to states within the country.

The presidential spokesman emphasized that when the President, Vice President, or other high-ranking government officials travel to any state, their security will be managed by the state’s security apparatus.

This move aligns with Tinubu’s commitment to prudently manage official travel expenses and streamline security protocols.
