BREAKING: Nigerian Singer Mohbad Dies At 27
Afrobeats sensation Mohbad, birth name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, has passed away, as confirmed by industry insiders on Tuesday evening.
Ovie Ofugara, the boss of Not Just Ok, conveyed the somber news, writing on his X account, “Confirmed. Mohbad is dead. Sad, sad day,” accompanied by a broken heart emoji.

Rapper Olamide Gbenga, also known as Olamide, expressed his sorrow on the platform, stating, “Damn! Mohbad.”

Born on June 6, 1998, Mohbad had previously reportedly expressed thoughts of suicide, according to his colleague Akinbiyi Abiola, better known as Bella Shmurda.
