In his speech, Governor Uzodimma congratulated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for organizing the “freest, fairest, and most peaceful election in the history of Imo State.”

The governor was declared re-elected after sweeping all 27 local government areas in the state, defeating opponents from various parties, including the People Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party.
