APC Completes 100% Upload Of 1,071 Candidates On INEC Portal Ahead Of 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the successful completion of the upload of all its candidates for the 2027 governorship and State House of Assembly elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal.

According to Ireporter Online, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Friday, describing the exercise as a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.

Yilwatda revealed that the ruling party achieved a 100 per cent submission of its candidates, comprising 56 governorship and deputy governorship candidates alongside 1,015 candidates contesting State House of Assembly seats across the country.

He stated that the successful completion of the nomination process reflects the party’s organisational capacity and readiness ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The APC chairman congratulated party leaders, members and all nominated candidates for ensuring the exercise was concluded without setbacks, describing the achievement as a collective success for the party.

He noted that with the nomination phase now completed, the APC would channel its attention towards engaging Nigerians on its vision for the country while highlighting the achievements recorded under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Yilwatda expressed confidence that the party would build on its current momentum as it intensifies preparations for the 2027 elections, reaffirming the APC’s commitment to securing victory at the polls.
