Veteran Nigerian musician Daddy Showkey has revealed how a challenging period in his life eventually led him to discover his musical talent and begin his journey as a solo artiste.

According to Ireporter Online, the galala music pioneer disclosed that after the breakup of his former group, Pretty Busy Boys, he was uncertain about his future and returned to the garage where he eventually discovered his passion for singing.

Speaking during an interview on Channels TV, Daddy Showkey explained that the group’s split forced members to pursue individual careers, leaving him searching for a new direction.
