According to Ireporter Online, fast-rising Nigerian music act Oluwadamilare Samuel Akolade, popularly known as Boysarm, is gaining momentum in the music industry with his distinctive sound, which he describes as “Elite Awakening,” a fusion of Afrobeats, elite-inspired themes, and contemporary musical elements.

The University of Lagos undergraduate and Lestat Entertainment signee is steadily expanding his audience base across different regions, building on earlier releases such as his breakout single “Adufe,” followed by “Tonight” and “Away (One Call).”

His newly released EP showcases his evolving artistry, featuring standout tracks including “I Go Lie for You,” a heartfelt expression of loyalty and devotion, and “Oroma,” which blends Amapiano rhythms with Afrobeats influences to celebrate African beauty and identity. The project, recorded in Lagos, is being positioned as a fresh contribution to the global Afrobeats movement, merging local soundscapes with international appeal.

In a major development, Boysarm, who leads the Elite Gang Movement, has announced the first-ever physical gathering of the community tagged “The Elite Party.” The event, which has received support from British Council Lagos, is scheduled to take place on April 12, 2026, at the British Council premises in Ikoyi, Lagos. It is expected to bring together fans, industry stakeholders, and invited dignitaries for an exclusive listening experience of the EP, live performances, and networking opportunities with the artist.
