Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed he is in no hurry to start a family due to his relentless global touring schedule. The 34-year-old Afrobeats superstar made this known in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London.

When asked about his plans to start a family, Burna Boy responded candidly, explaining that the demands of touring make it difficult to commit to such a step.

“Yeah, but I don’t want to start that on the road. I’m not planning on quitting tours anytime soon, so I don’t know where to now put that [starting a family]; find a middle ground,” he said.

The African Giant crooner also disclosed that his decision not to start a family yet is tied to the fact that he hasn’t taken any holidays since his rise to fame. According to him, without children, he finds little reason to pause for vacation, staying constantly on the move with his career.

Burna Boy’s statement adds to the ongoing public interest in his personal life, as fans continue to speculate on when the music icon might choose to settle down. However, his focus remains firmly on his international music career, which has seen him consistently perform on some of the world’s biggest stages.
