“Cashew Farmers Extend Sympathy To Gov Ododo On Father’s Passing”
The National Apex of Cashew Farmers, Processors, and Marketing Cooperative Limited (CASHWAPEX) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the loss of his beloved father.
According to iReporter Online, the condolence message, signed by the President of CASHWAPEX, Yunusa Gabriel Enemali, described the passing as a profound loss not only to the governor’s immediate family but also to the wider community that held the late patriarch in high esteem.
“As an organization committed to the empowerment of rural cashew farmers, processors, and marketers, we deeply understand the value of family and community.
This tragic loss is felt far beyond the walls of the governor’s household,” the statement read.

CASHWAPEX highlighted the state’s critical role in Nigeria’s cashew production landscape, emphasizing that many families depend on the sector for their livelihood.
“We commend the governor’s dedication to fostering agricultural development. Kogi State continues to be a pivotal force in Nigeria’s cashew industry, and we remain confident in his vision for sustainable growth,” the statement continued.
Standing firmly with the governor during this period of mourning, CASHWAPEX offered its sincerest sympathies. “We extend our deepest condolences to Governor Ododo and his family.
May the legacy and cherished memories of his late father offer strength and solace in this time of grief.”
According to iReporter Online, the organisation also offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul and strength for the grieving family.
