Alagie Kanteh, a human trafficking survivor, has revealed the unimaginable conditions he endured on his perilous journey to Europe. Kanteh’s ordeal began in The Gambia, leading him through several dangerous territories, including Senegal, Mali, and Libya, where he was forced into hazardous labor. During his time in Libya, from 2005 to 2009, he was held captive and made to clean bullets in Misrata, a city near Tripoli. The extreme risk to his life left him reflecting on the desperation that led him there, making his survival nothing short of a miracle.
