According to Governor Zulum, the training will encompass teachers lacking formal teaching qualifications but deemed trainable based on the competency test records. He highlighted that since assuming office in 2019, his administration has prioritized the reconstruction of damaged school infrastructures to improve learning outcomes, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of out-of-school children from over two million to eight hundred thousand.

The governor urged the newly appointed education secretaries to meet expectations, cautioning that those found to be underperforming would face replacement.
