Senator Tinubu, delivering the keynote address on behalf of the First Lady, emphasized the collective responsibility in addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by drug abuse.

She lauded the collaborative efforts of the NDLEA and the Nigerian Governors’ Spouses Forum in tackling the crisis, urging stakeholders to foster empathy and solidarity towards individuals grappling with substance use disorders.

Echoing her sentiments, Prince Lateef Fagbemi stressed the pivotal role of grassroots engagement in driving effective policies and practices to combat drug abuse at the community level. He commended the NDLEA’s innovative approach in leveraging the Governors’ Spouses Forum to cascade the anti-drug campaign across the nation.
