According to Ireporter Online, Ghanaian social media star Bannerman-Martin Lorretta, popularly known as Aba Dope, has opened up about her journey from being a victim of cyberbullying to becoming a celebrated TikTok influencer.

Sharing her story, Dope recounted the challenges she faced early in her online career and the successes she has achieved since. She revealed that cyberbullying marked her first major hurdle, which she overcame over time. Already active on Snapchat, she eventually transitioned to TikTok, where her content quickly attracted attention. “When I posted a photo of my physical appearance, people complemented me,” she said.

Before venturing into social media, Aba Dope worked as a prayer secretary. She admitted that her parents were unaware of her shift into entertainment until her television appearances brought her into the public eye.

Dope explained that despite initial criticism and bullying on TikTok, her persistence and dedication helped her gain popularity. “In my path of content creation, I’ve accomplished a lot in terms of financial success, popularity, and celebrity. There are challenges, like limited free time since millions of people await new content, but it opens the path to further fame and opportunities,” she said.
