Governor Abiodun Forecasts Dollar Crash Against Naira Within a Month, Announces Food Relief Initiatives

Addressing stakeholders at the Cultural Center in Kuto Abeokuta, Governor Abiodun asserts that the Naira will soon regain strength against the Dollar, fueled by concerted efforts by the Federal Government to address underlying economic issues.
Citing insights gained from a recent meeting with President Bola Tinubu, Governor Abiodun affirms the government’s commitment to thwarting economic saboteurs and stabilizing the currency market.
In response to the economic uncertainties, Governor Abiodun unveils proactive steps, including the distribution of essential food items such as rice, garri, and beans to citizens. Nearly 100 trailers of rice will be distributed, with priority given to the elderly and vulnerable, who will receive the food items free of charge.
Furthermore, Governor Abiodun pledges to address outstanding deductions and commits to allocating N500 million monthly towards clearing the arrears. This initiative aims to provide relief to civil servants and alleviate financial burdens on households.
Expressing gratitude for citizens’ resilience and cooperation, Governor Abiodun reaffirms his administration’s dedication to addressing citizens’ needs and fostering economic stability in Ogun State.
