The actress shared a personal experience involving a wealthy Nigerian businessman, revealing how her honesty about the cost of a movie production led to a missed investment opportunity.

Shan George recounted that over a decade ago, she invited the businessman to her movie premiere and disclosed that her production cost ₦6 million. When she asked if he would invest in her next film, he reportedly dismissed her. Efforts to reach him afterward were unsuccessful.

Years later, she learned that the businessman publicly claimed he “doesn’t take any little person seriously in business,” which clarified his earlier dismissal. Reflecting on the experience, Shan emphasized that telling the truth may sometimes delay success, but she refuses to join “the lying gang” or fake achievements for personal gain.
