“I’m Not Done Yet!” — Kamala Harris Hints At 2028 Presidential Comeback

Former United States Vice President Kamala Harris has hinted at a possible return to the presidential race in 2028, suggesting she is not yet done with public service.

According to Ireporter Online, Harris made the revelation during an exclusive interview on BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, her first media appearance in the United Kingdom. When asked if she still aspired to become president, Harris replied, “Possibly,” adding that serving others has always been part of her life’s mission.

“I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones,” she stated.

Harris, who was defeated by former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election, reflected on her campaign and the challenges she faced after entering the race late following Joe Biden’s withdrawal. She admitted that her late start made victory “almost impossible,” though she noted that the popular vote margin was under 2%, even as Trump secured a decisive win in the Electoral College.

Recalling her reaction as the election results unfolded, Harris said, “My God, my God, what will happen to our country?”

Despite current polls showing her trailing behind potential Democratic contenders, including Hollywood actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Harris dismissed the significance of such figures. “If I listened to polls, I wouldn’t have run for my first office or my second, and I certainly wouldn’t be sitting here,” she maintained.

During the interview, Harris reignited her criticism of Donald Trump, labeling him a “tyrant” and claiming that her earlier warnings about his leadership style had been confirmed. She accused Trump of politicizing the Department of Justice and targeting his critics, referencing the reported suspension of television host Jimmy Kimmel following a joke about right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

“His skin is so thin he couldn’t take a joke and tried to silence an entire media outlet because of it,” Harris alleged.

She also took aim at corporate America, accusing major companies of “bowing at the feet of a tyrant” for personal or business gains such as securing mergers or avoiding investigations.

Reacting to her comments, a White House spokesperson, Abigail Jackson, dismissed Harris’s remarks as desperate attempts to stay relevant. “When Kamala Harris lost the election in a landslide, she should have taken the hint. The American people don’t care about her absurd lies,” Jackson said, adding that Harris’s decision to air her frustrations on foreign platforms “shows how far she’s fallen.”

Harris, who recently released her memoir 107 Days, is currently on a global book tour — a move that has reignited discussions about her political future. Closing the interview on an optimistic note, she said, “My grandnieces will, in their lifetime for sure, see a female president. And possibly, it could be me.”
