Abdu Zango, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, confirmed these arrangements while addressing stakeholders at the commission’s headquarters in Kano on Tuesday.

Zango stated, “We are fully ready for the bye-election with our trained electoral personnel prepared to conduct a transparent and credible election across six local government areas.

The election will cover 66 polling units, and participation will be restricted to individuals with a valid permanent voter card.”

He further disclosed that the commission had already dispatched both sensitive and non-sensitive materials to the affected local government areas.

Zango emphasized the utilization of the BIVAS machine during the re-run elections, aiming to ensure a fair, transparent, and credible electoral process.
