The crackdown unfolded when the Trans Yamuna Range of Special Cell received intelligence about the movement of two individuals engaged in distributing party drugs. Acting swiftly, a team laid a trap on SFS Flats road, Mayur Vihar phase-3, Delhi, intercepting Narh and Nsiah traveling on a scooty.

Upon search, law enforcement recovered 56.69 grams of cocaine and 20 ecstasy pills from the duo. Subsequently, with their disclosure, Okpara, the source of the contraband, was apprehended, leading to the recovery of an additional 7.12 grams of cocaine from his flat in a Greater Noida Society.

Kaushik emphasized ongoing efforts to trace the entire syndicate network, underscoring the severity of the operation as the drugs seized were intended for distribution in party circuits.

Providing background details, the police revealed that Narh and Nsiah hail from Accra, Ghana, born in 1993, and arrived in India in December 2023 and mid-January 2024, respectively. Okpara, aged 27, ventured to India in 2018, initially settling in Mumbai before relocating to Delhi’s Dwarka and eventually engaging in narcotics trade in Delhi/NCR.
