It was reported that the Emir of Ringim lost his son Sagir Sayyadi after a brief illness. During a condolence visit, Governor Namadi described the death of Daniyan as a significant loss not only to the Ringim emirate but to Jigawa state at large.

Governor Namadi prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late Sagir eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi and to provide strength to the Ringim emirate to bear the irreversible loss.

Sagir Sayyadi Mahmud passed away on Monday, June 20th, at the age of 50 after a brief illness. Before his death, Sagir was Daniyan Ringim, the district head of Kanya Maikaho, and a staff member of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) in Abuja.

The late Daniyan Ringim is survived by his wife, two children, and his father, His Highness Sayyadi Mahmud Ringim. He was the sixth son out of the 23 children of the Ringim Emir, Alhaji Sayyadi Mahmoud. Sagir has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

Governor Namadi’s visit and kind words of condolence are a testament to the impact the late Sagir had on his community and the deep sense of loss felt by the people of Jigawa State.
