Lagos State has launched a comprehensive review of its resilience strategy to uphold its developmental momentum.

The initiative convened stakeholders at the Lagos Resilience Forum, orchestrated by the Lagos State Resilience Office (LASRO), to chart a path forward.

Discussions at the forum centered on global and local challenges, identifying growth opportunities, integrating resilience into governmental operations, and advancing resilience knowledge and innovations for sustained growth.

Ope George, Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, emphasized the forum’s inclusive approach, stating it aims to enhance the state’s resilience efforts.

Folayinka Dania, Chief Resilience Officer, highlighted LASRO’s focus on key sectors such as transportation, water, energy, and disaster management, underscoring the strategy’s commitment to governance and infrastructure enhancement for community empowerment.
